Use this guide to choose a starting synthesis scale and purification method
Application/Need Recommended Scale Purification Guidance
Routine PCR / qPCR primers 10–25 nmol DSL / Standard Best for most routine amplification and screening applications.
Sequencing primers 10–25 nmol DSL / Standard Suitable for routine Sanger sequencing.
Cloning / mutagenesis 25–100 nmol DSL / Standard or HPLC Use larger scale for repeated primers experiments or more demanding applications.
Probes / modified oligos 100 nmol–1 µmol HPLC or PAGE Recommended when higher purity or modifications are important.
High-purity / specialized 100 nmol–1 µmol PAGE or HPLC Use when truncated products or applications impurities could affect performance.

Configure Your Oligos
Enter each oligonucleotide below and add additional rows as needed. Each oligo may have its own synthesis scale, purification method, modification, and application.
Sequence requirements: Enter DNA sequences in the 5′ → 3′ direction using A, T, G, and C. Please review each sequence carefully before submitting.
Available synthesis scales: 10 nmol, 25 nmol, 100 nmol, and 1 µmol.
Need help choosing a scale or purification method? See our Oligo Ordering Guide below.
Fields with an asterisk (*) are required. Not all purification types are available for 10 nmol and 25 nmol.
How pricing is calculated: Oligo price = (sequence length × price per nucleotide for the selected synthesis scale) + applicable purification and modification charges.
For example:
Example: A 20-nt oligo ordered at 25 nmol with DSL purification is calculated using the 25 nmol synthesis rate: 20 nt × GHS 4.83/nt, plus any applicable purification or modification charge.
