Description

Our 2X Fast Taq Mix For Tissue is a premixed, ready-to-use solution containing Fast Taq DNA Polymerase, dNTPs, and all other PCR components, except the DNA template and primers. Fast Taq Mix For Tissue is specific for direct tissue PCR amplification. Fast Taq Mix For Tissue contributes to fast, specific, sensitive and reproducible PCR by reducing the risk of pipetting errors, miscalculation, and contamination. The Fast Taq Mix For Tissue (2X) can be used with conventional PCR machines.

Fast Taq DNA polymerase is the latest generation Taq-based DNA polymerase. It possesses high amplification efficiency like Taq polymerase, and fast elongation ability like KOD polymerase, and can be used in various kinds of PCR. The Fast PCR Buffer is designed for Fast Taq DNA polymerase, and can be used in fast amplification reactions. Fast Taq DNA polymerase has an elongation rate that is 2x higher than regular Taq DNA polymerase, and can shorten the amplification time by one-half. It has 5' to 3' polymerase activity but lacks 3' to 5' exonuclease activity, which results in 3'-dA overhangs.

Quality Control
The absence of endodeoxyribonucleases, exodeoxyribonucleases and ribonucleases is confirmed by appropriate quality tests. Functionally is tested in amplification of a single-copy gene from human genomic DNA.


Unit Definition
One unit is defined as the amount of the enzyme required to catalyze the incorporation of 10 nM of dNTPs into an acid-insoluble form in 30 minutes at 70°C using herring sperm DNA as substrate.
