Our 2X Hot Start Taq DNA polymerase Mix is a premixed, ready-to-use solution containing
Hot Start Taq DNA polymerase, dNTPs, and all other PCR components, except the DNA template and primers. Hot Start Taq DNA polymerase contributes to specific, sensitive, and reproducible PCR by reducing the risk of pipetting errors, miscalculation, and contamination. The 2X Hot Start Taq DNA polymerase Mix can be used with conventional PCR machines.
Our Hot Start Taq DNA polymerase is a hot-start polymerase with a chemical modification, which brings higher specificity by reducing non-specific products as the enzyme activity is temperature-dependent and is inhibited at room temperature. The amplification length and speed can reach up to 5 kb (simple template) and 0.5 kb/min, respectively. Hot Start Taq has 5’-3’ polymerase activity, but no 3’-5’ exonuclease activity. The products of Taq plus have dA overhangs at 3’-end.
Our 2X Hot Start Taq DNA polymerase Mix has zero animal source pollution, since it is produced with an advanced chemical modification. It is also much more stable than an antibody-modified hot-start polymerase. Its efficiency is higher than most chemical-modified polymerases and the initial-denaturation time can be reduced to 3 minutes.
